* A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013. *

Biet: fascinated by the sounds, smells, and tastes of her world- a little lady who refuses to eat string cheese but loves Gruyere.

(note: I may have a problem choosing just one photo each week for this project. and so it goes.)

    1. Thanks Steph! She does have interesting taste buds for a toddler. She regularly turns down pancakes in favor of quinoa or beans, and prefers dates and dried mango to most cookies. Funny girl!

  3. She is just gorgeous. I wish my daughter would eat cheese full stop. And she's half french!

I've had to try really, really hard to only post 1 photo on my 52 project. But now I've seen yours, I won't feel bad posting more. They look great as a set!

    1. I'm sure your daughter will catch on soon :) As far as I know, there are no real rules to the 53 Project, so I am choosing to document my children in as much detail as feels right each week.

    1. Not yet, but we'll keep trying. Gaby, on the other hand, who had never even heard of it before last week, loves it, and is happy to pick up the cheese-consuming slack.

And so funny! My boys will eat brie and gruyere and goat cheese, but HATE American cheese and cheese sticks. Score for us!

  16. Great pics! Would love a post about Biet's language skills, I'm mum to a bilingual girl too. (Eng & Spa).

    1. Her language is just developing, so I don't have a ton to post about yet. In the past month though, she has begun to catch more and more words, and is now at about one new word per day. Most are in english, but a lot are in spanish too. We haven't really taught her any hebrew though. Gaby and I have been discussing how to move forward to give her the best bilingual skills. I'll write about it as we discover more!
